Robot Warlords is a role-playing game (RPG) with a turn-based combat system that Dazz developed. In Japan, the game is titled Velvet File (). In 2000, it was initially made available in Japan under Velvet File. It was originally released in Europe by Midas Interactive in 2001 and given the name Robot Warlords. The plot revolves around mecha engaging in combat with a terrorist organization; the player can have a team of up to six individuals, but only four can participate in activities at any given time. The actual mecha itself is a cutting-edge technological marvel powered by batteries. It can be outfitted with a wide selection of close-combat and long-range weapons to accommodate a variety of combat techniques. The game was then followed by a sequel that was only released in Japan called Velvet File Plus ().
