Soul Nomad & the World Eaters

Soul Nomad & the World Eaters occurs in Prodesta, where an evil entity known as Gig has returned with his three World Eaters. The land of Podesta had faced these monsters before when Princess Layna sacrificed herself two hundred years ago to capture the enemies and save the land from certain doom. They’ve returned, and you’re the chosen hero who must battle through various environments to keep Prodesta alive. After creating your character, you discover that Gig has taken over your body and is offering you his strength to help you defeat your enemies. Unfortunately, accepting Gig’s powers allows him to take over more of your mind. Learning how much energy you can wield before being consumed by evil is a big part of the game. You are sent worldwide with a party of your creation to battle Gig’s minions on grid-based battlefields. Your squad is made up of soldiers you buy with Gig points, and you must position them on the battlefield to put their attributes and skills to good use. If you run out of points, you can kidnap townspeople and force them to your cause. The battle is based on teamwork, and you can add 40 different group abilities to your arsenal as you try to defeat the enemy and save Podesta.
