The King of Fighters 2002

The classic SNK fighting game has been given a modern makeover. The King of Fighters 2002 has visuals that are superior to those of the arcade game on which it is based because they have been upgraded to match the specifications of the PlayStation 2. Team, Single, Practice, Challenge, and Gallery are available to game modes. KOF 2002 recreates the frenetic 2D fighting action of the original game by including three-on-three battles and a modified Max Motion System. Additionally, this game version adds five characters that are only available in the PlayStation 2 version. On March 25, 2004, it was made available in Japan.
