The Suffering

You play the part of Torque, a death row inmate with a murky past who has been incarcerated for the murder of his ex-wife and their children. The murders brought about his incarceration. An earthquake occurs on Carnate Island not long after a new prison has been built there, and it seems to have unleashed demonic monsters that are based on the many methods of execution that have been utilized on the island throughout its dark history. You, along with a small number of other inmates and guards, are the only ones left to eradicate the horde and discover what has transpired in the jail when these animals proceed to kill a significant portion of the convict population.
